Enjoying a little day hike with spectacular views. And you'll have to excuse my sunglasses in all of these pictures; I've had some issues with my eyes and they are extremely sensitive to light... these were the darkest pair I could find that covered my eyes well enough.

Wow, way to go Steve (and Cara). We're so proud of you guys! That is SO much reading! I can't imagine going through it once, let along three times. A well-deserved break, I'm sure! Have you tried putting Grace in the Bjorn facing out? That's the only way Eliza "rides". She doesn't want to miss a thing!

What a great picture to show for how much information the guys needed to study. I never realized just how much it really was!! I'm glad you guys had a chance for a vacation to the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff before rotations! Grace is growing up so fast, she is so adorable! I love that jacket!!!

It looks like it was a really fun trip! I can't believe how many books steve has to study- he deserves a good break like that. gosh! Ever since I got pregnant with Natalie my eyes have become overly sensitive to light. I hate it! I wear sunglasses all the time too :)
What a good feeling that must be! And, what a fun little trip! Ricky has never been to the Grand Canyon and I of course thought we would get around to it while we lived there.... apparently not:) Little Grace is getting bigger everyday! Can you even believe it???? It breaks my heart just a little bit to watch them grow so quickly... What a cutie she is!
I'm sure you are super stoked to have those dang boards over. James has his in October, so guess what I have to look forward to. Your Grand Canyon getaway looks like lots of fun. Thanks again for watching Ava. You guys are the best. Wish we would have had more time to catch up.
